Traffic Alert: Lane Closures Expected As Work Continues On SR-67 In Ramona
Flaggers will help direct motorists through the construction zone when one-way traffic control is in place. (BREAKING)

RAMONA, CA – Lanes will be closed for pavement work on State Route 67, Highland Valley Road and Dye Road in Ramona during the next three weeks beginning Tuesday, according to Caltrans. The lane closures will take place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
At least one lane will remain open during construction, according to Caltrans. Flaggers will help direct motorists through the construction zone when one-way traffic control is in place.
The pavement work is part of the SR-67 Dye Road/Highland Valley Road Improvement Project, which began in May 2016 and is nearing completion. According to Caltrans, the project widened SR-67 at the intersection from one to two through lanes in each direction and created additional turn lanes on the state highway to better accommodate commercial trucks and improve traffic flow.
