Brewery protested by Rancho Cucamonga neighborhood to be converted to a fire station (dailybulletin.com) — Rancho Cucamonga officials have approved a $7.8 million deal to buy Hamilton Family Brewery’s Archibald Avenue property and convert it into a new fire station, following neighborhood complaints about the taproom. The Fire Protection District will fund most of the purchase, while the city helps cover relocation costs as the brewery looks for a new home.
   

2. A full-service pickleball restaurant is coming to Rancho Cucamonga (dailybulletin.com) — A new Electric Pickle “eatertainment” venue with pickleball courts, games, and a full-service restaurant is slated to open next year at Courtyard at The Resort in Rancho Cucamonga, near Toyota Arena and Ontario Mills. The Eureka! Restaurant Group concept will feature nine courts, cornhole, bocce ball, live music, and a broad menu, aiming to become a go-to hangout for local residents.
   

3. Growing Opportunities in Grocery Stores (licensinginternational.org) — Rancho Cucamonga is set to benefit from a $120 million distribution center investment by Chedraui USA, supporting growth of its El Super, Fiesta Mart, and Smart & Final grocery chains.
