To honor all the men and women who have fallen in service of their country, we celebrate that they lived every year. We are the Rancho Bernardo Historical Society, we preserve history, so others don't forget. It is a somber event, as the Los Rancheros Veterans of Foreign Wars remind us. But it is also appropriate to embrace life in their memory, as we do with our annual pancake festival, featuring:

- Fluffy pancakes, sausage, fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee prepared by the masters - the RB Kiwanis!
- The Dixie Strutters will have your toes tapping.
- Children will enjoy making paper hats, and having their faces painted.
- A $20 donation will provide the opportunity to paint a ceramic tile, which will be glazed and fired, then mounted on our permanent tile mural wall outside the RB History Museum.
- Door Prize drawing entry FREE with purchase of your ticket - A vintage silver Native American turquoise cuff bracelet from Jewel and Vine
- Tables full of fabulous raffle prizes, including an Overnight Stay and golf at RB Inn!
- As always, Active Military and Veterans eat for free as our guests! Tickets are $7 - FREE to children under 3 - and may be purchased in advance at the Museum, on our website, or at the breakfast.
- Pancake breakfast served from 8 am - 10:45 am.
- Veterans Memorial Ceremony at 11 am.
