Baby Dies After Cord Wraps Around Her Neck
A 1-year-old died Thursday but the exact circumstances are unclear.
A 1-year-old girl died Thursday after a cord became wrapped around her neck, officials said.
The girl was transported to the hospital by ambulance in "critical status" from a home in the 10800 block of Terraza Floracion in Rancho Peñasquitos just after 10:30 a.m., a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department dispatcher said.
The girl died, said Maurice Luque, spokesman for the fire department.
