Betty Boop is Your Rancho Coastal Humane Society Pet This Week

She's a laid back kitty.

(RCHS - Mark Viguri)

Betty Boop is pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. She’s a 2-year-old, 10-pound, female, Domestic Short Hair cat with a Blue and white coat.

She was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another shelter through the FOCAS (Friends of County Animal Shelters) program. At the other shelter, she was in a room with another cat and they got along fine.

Betty Boop is soft and sweet. When she sees someone approaching, she comes to the front of her enclosure to rub her face and say hello.

She isn’t interested in cat toys. She likes being handled and she likes kids.

The $100 adoption fee for Betty Boop includes medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, and registered microchip.

Special note. November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month. There are lots of advantages to adopting a senior pet:

  • You know what you’re getting.
  • Training is usually easier.
  • Senior pets usually settle into their new homes more quickly.
  • You can match a senior with your activity level.
  • When you adopt a senior pet…you’re a hero!

Adoption fees for senior dogs and cats (seven or more) are only $75 at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. With the “Seniors-For-Seniors” pet adoption program, there’s no fee for a person 60 or older when they adopt a pet that is 7 years or older. Please consider adopting a gently used, recycled, senior pet.
