Coroner IDs 80-Year-Old U-Haul Employee Killed By Truck
The man's body was discovered by a customer at the Miramar-area business.

SAN DIEGO, CA -- An 80-year-old U-Haul employee was struck and killed by a driverless rental truck at his Miramar-area workplace on Thursday.
Alfred White of San Diego had just moved the vehicle a short distance at the business in the 9600 block of Camino Ruiz and was next to it when it began rolling, knocked him down and ran over him about 6 a.m., according to police and the county Medical Examiner's Office.
About a half-hour later, a customer happened upon White's body.

The accident, images of which were captured by a surveillance camera, was under investigation.
