Deputies Arrest Three Suspects for Burglaries In San Diego County

Two of the alleged burglars are from Escondido, deputies said.

4 S RANCH, CA -- Sheriff's deputies arrested three alleged burglars Sunday in the unincorporated area of 4 S Ranch, a lieutenant said. The deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity early this morning outside the Boys and Girls Club at 16118 4 S Ranch Parkway, said sheriff's Lt. Chris Collier.

Deputies discovered and detained 20-year-old Da'Shon Morales of Moreno Valley, 19-year-old Jesus Ruiz Arias Jr. of Escondido and 20-year-old Fernando Vasquez Cruz also of Escondido, Collier said.

Deputies also found a safe nearby that had been thrown down an embankment, as well property belonging to several businesses in the city of San Diego, Collier continued.

Detectives from 4S Ranch, Poway and San Diego police obtained search warrants for the car found near the three suspects and several homes, Collier said. The three men then were arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and several other felonies, Collier added.

The three men were also being investigated for several other burglaries in San Diego County.

4S Ranch is located about 25 miles north of downtown San Diego and about 13 miles east of the Pacific Ocean in San Diego's North County.
