GENTLY HUGGED ANNUAL EVENT TO BENEFIT BABIES IN NEED

“From the Heart” will take place on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the lovely Bernardo Winery in Rancho Bernardo. “Consumer Bob” Hansen from NBC7, is emceeing the festivities that include dinner, a no-host bar and live music together with Auction and Raffle opportunities. Appetizers and a Silent Auction will begin at 6:00 PM. Dinner, Raffle drawings, and a Live Auction are happening from 7-9 PM.

The cost for the evening is $60 per person or $450 for a table of 8. Tickets can be purchased at www.gentlyhugged.com.

Since its inception in 2012, Gently Hugged has helped over 1300 babies in need throughout San Diego County to stay warm and thrive for their first year by providing them with new and gently used clothing donated by the community. Included with clothing items are handmade blankets, booties and bibs. At least one new book to read to the infant along with health promotion information is also provided for new parents. Completed packages are delivered to health and service organizations and distributed by social workers or nurses to low income, military, and disadvantaged families.
