Local Soloists Ensemble Presented in Next Discovery Concert

Musicians from the award-winning Soloists Ensemble and Soloists Sinfonietta of the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the next Discovery Concert at the Rancho Bernardo Library at 3 pm Saturday, May 21.

The new series of concerts at the library serves to educate the public about various music forms and to expand the opportunity for local musicians to perform. There is no charge for this performance. All ages are welcome.

A selection of ensemble works by Vivaldi, Beethoven, Dvorak, and Debussy will demonstrate contrasting styles in the classical repertoire. The Soloists Ensemble, founded by Artistic Director and Conductor Alyze Dreiling, is for pre-professional musicians in high school through college. Soloists Sinfonietta musicians are talented and dedicated middle school string players.
