Motorcyclist Goes 140 MPH In Chase Down Interstate 15: CHP

The high-speed pursuit on southbound I-15 Tuesday night went on for nearly 60 miles, according to the California Highway Patrol.

San Diego, CA — A motorcyclist was facing charges after allegedly leading California Highway Patrol officers on a high-speed chase Tuesday night from North County to San Diego's Talmadge neighborhood.

The pursuit originated on southbound Interstate 15 near the San Diego-Riverside county line and reached speeds of up to 140 miles per hour, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The rider — identified as 27-year-old Enrique Rojas of Perris — was arrested on suspicion of felony evading and driving with a suspended license shortly after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the CHP.
