PUSD Schools Rank High Among Newsweek's ‘Best High Schools’

The news magazine used six factors to gauge how well 2,000 public schools prepare students for college.

Westview High School was the top ranked Poway Unified school in Newsweek's latest evaluation of how well 2,000 campuses prepare their students for college.

Westview High came in at No. 150, ahead of Poway Unified schools Rancho Bernardo High (310), Poway High (317) and Mount Carmel (488). (The rankings are based in part on 2011 graduation rates, but Del Norte High did not graduate its first class until 2012.)
