Process: Distribution this year will be a Drive-up process like was done for the delivery of the Chromebooks and is currently being done for school lunches. Here is the process that will need to be followed in order to honor the current social distancing guidelines:
1. Students will enter the main school driveway by car and proceed to the roundabout in front of the Performing Arts Center.
2. They will then pull up to the wait line where Mr. Trecker will check their ID, give them their ID sticker, and campus supervision will tell them which station to pull up to.
3. Once they get to their station, they will show the volunteer their sticker and will then be asked to exit their car and pick up their yearbook off a table.
4. They will then get back in their car and exit the campus, they may not remain on any part of the school campus.
Students must have their student ID with them. We will not have the luxury this year of Yearbook students being able to help identify other students. We will be using volunteers who will likely not know who your student is. Without their ID, the student will not be able to get their yearbook.
For safety purposes, any person coming to pick up a yearbook must wear a mask. All volunteers will be wearing masks and gloves to prevent the possible spread of Coronavirus. We will also be practicing social distance measures to ensure everyone’s safety!
Because of the additional measures that will be placed upon us, we ask that everyone have patience with the process. As with everything these days, this is a new way of doing things. Please do not come up to campus to pick up a yearbook if you only have a few minutes and are in a hurry. At this time, we do not know how long the process will take and what the line will look like to get the books.
If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail Mr. Trecker at ktrecker@powayusd.com or Mrs. Moore at kemoore@powayusd.com.
