Robber Holds Up Rancho Penasquitos Gas Station: Police
San Diego police say the robbery occurred shortly after 4:30 a.m. Friday.

SAN DIEGO, CA — An armed man with a tattooed face held up a gas station in the Rancho Penasquitos neighborhood Friday morning.
The robber showed the handle of a gun to an employee at the Chevron station on Carmel Mountain Road near Penasquitos Drive and demanded cash shortly after 4:30 a.m., San Diego police Sgt. Ray Battrick said. He was given an undisclosed amount and ran off.
Police described the suspect as Hispanic, in his 20s and roughly 5-feet- 6 and 130 pounds with a shaved head and a face tattoo.
