Timbre of Wind Instruments Take the Stage at Rancho Bernardo Library

West Coast Wind Quintet Concert Set for May 25

Classical music fans are being treated to a special concert this month, with the West Coast Wind Quintet presenting their compelling art that has captivated audiences in the San Diego area. They will perform at 6:15 pm Wednesday, May 25, at the Rancho Bernardo Library in the 2nd floor Community Room.

Wind quintets bring a very different sound to the stage than string ensembles, with a variety of tone color that can mesmerize an audience. Members of this quintet are among Southern California’s most active and exciting young musicians. They have performed with some of the leading area orchestras, including the San Diego Symphony, LA Philharmonic and LA Opera.

This concert is part of a series of classical music presentations by the RB Friends of the Library, for the cultural and musical benefit of the public. There is no charge for this concert; free-will donations for musicians are encouraged.
