UPS Driver Credited With Rescuing Rancho Penasquitos Teen

Cameron King was pinned underneath his full-size pickup truck when UPS driver Brian Phillips rushed to his aid.

SAN DIEGO, CA: A Rancho Peñasquitos teenager screamed for help, hoping someone would hear him.

Someone did — and wasted no time, according to news reports.

A little after 5 on a recent afternoon, Cameron King, 17, was working on his full-size pickup truck when the jack fell and his head and neck became pinned underneath the rear of the 6,000-pound vehicle, this 10News video shows:

UPS driver Brian Phillips was on his route when he heard the teen's cries for help. Phillips stopped his truck and rushed over, pulling Cameron to safety.

A reunion between the grateful teen — who suffered only minor injuries, thanks to Phillips — and the quick-thinking driver also aired Tuesday on "Good Morning America."
