35 MPH Gusts For Orange County, Windy Weather Through Thursday

A high wind advisory was issued for Orange County in anticipation of strong winds through Tuesday night.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — As strong winds and cooler weather return to Southern California over the week, the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for Orange County.

Residents can expect northeast winds ranging from 10 to 20 miles per hour, with gusts up to 35 miles per hour expected.

The High Wind Warning starts at 1 p.m. Tuesday and will remain in place until 7 p.m. Tuesday.

While the wind advisory expires at 7 p.m., the National Weather Service predicted that Orange County residents will continue to experience windy weather through Thursday.

The wind advisory affects the Orange County coastal areas, San Diego County valleys, Orange County inland areas and San Diego County coastal areas.
