Auction Benefitting Cook's Corner Shooting Victims: How To Help

The Orange County community is coming together to help the victims and those impacted by the mass shooting that took place last week.

TRABUCO CANYON, CA — The community is coming together to help support those impacted by the mass shooting that took place last week at a famed biker bar in south Orange County, The Orange County Register reported.

The shooting killed three people and wounded six others after an ex-police officer shot at his estranged wife and other people dining at Cook's Corner in Trabuco Canyon, according to a previous Patch report.

Tonya Clark, 49, of Scottsdale, AZ; John Leehey, 67, of Irvine; and Glen Sprowl Jr., 53, of Stanton, were the three victims who suffered fatal wounds as a result of the shooting, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.

"There are so many people affected who work there and we want to help,” said Max Gilmore, who owns Auto Addiction OC in Lake Forest, told the OC Register.

According to the report, Gilmore is collecting donations for an auction through his business to help raise money for not only the victims of the shooting, but the employees impacted by the closure of the popular biker bar.
