City Calls Special Meeting to Discuss Replacing Hayman

Members of the city council who normally meet at 7 p.m. on alternate Wedesdays will be getting a little earlier start than usual this week. 

A special meeing has been called for 5:30 p.m., before the regularly scheduled meeting, to discuss the best means of replacing city manager Steve Hayman, who is resigning at the end of the year.

As is the case with regular meetings, the public will have two opportunities to address the council as it considers the best options for recruiting a replacment for Hayman, who has been the city manager for the past six years.

The regularly scheduled meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
