City Council Grants Funds for Nonprofit Organizations
The annual CDBGs are handed out. Also, students from Serra Catholic are recognized.

Editor's note: Totals for CDBG grants were previously incorrect; the totals now reflect the correct funding, as well as the incorrect numbers which were the city staff's original recommendation prior to a 17 percent decrease in funding.
The City Council of Rancho Santa Margarita focused on the Rancho Santa Margarita Townhomes project, and also parking fees, but there were a number of other things that the council got to on the agenda.
One of the most notable is that it determined which local public service organizations would receive California Development Block Grants.
