CUSD votes 7-0 to Limit Public Comments at Board Meetings

CUSD voted to reduce staff meetings to once per month and to limit the Public's ability to speak at meetings.
Taxpayers have no recourse from abusive spending priorities that put the economic interests of employees; above the educational interests of students and the financial interest of taxpayers, except to come and express themselves to Trustees (their elected representatives).

Trustees are elected by the PEOPLE to represent students and taxpayers in all matters before the Board.
Unfortunately, when Public Employee Unions buy the seats of a majority of school board Trustees, taxpayers and students are abused and used for the benefit of Staff.

CUSD has 1000 page Board Agenda's and puts 90% of the Items on Consent.

CUSD put a $33.86 million dollar land purchase of the Esencia School site on the Consent Calendar without a price which resulted in the gifting of $13 million dollars in taxpayer funds to the Ranch.
CUSD's response is to SHUT UP
Also on the Consent Calendar was Agenda Item #13 where Trustees voted WITHOUT COMMENT to reduce spending on Books and Supplies by $9 million dollars to balance its budget AFTER giving employees their fifth consecutive year of across the board compensation increases.
