Spread Cheer In Rancho Santa Margarita: Toys For Tots Needs Help

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — The holiday season is in full swing, Rancho Santa Margarita. Are you looking to help a child in your community celebrate the season?

Among the options California residents have to help out their communities is the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive, which kicked off in November. It continues a long-held tradition of providing Christmas cheer to children across the country.

Through Dec. 13, Rancho Santa Margarita residents can participate in the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive by donating to Toys for Tots. Residents interested in donating can either do it online by purchasing a toy or in-person by visiting any Disney store in the country.

For every donation made, the company donates an additional $1. This fundraising event marks the third consecutive year Disney teamed up with Toys for Tots to help bring joy to children in underserved communities across the country.

This year, the Walt Disney Company kicked off the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive by donating $500,000 to Marine Toys for Tots Program on “Good Morning America” Nov. 4, Disney Parks reported.

Rancho Santa Margarita residents can also support Marine Toys for Tots by searching for their local donation campaign through the charity’s website.

In 2020, the Toys for Tots campaign based in Orange County distributed 20,063 toys and supported 9,721 children in your community.

Donations of new and unwrapped gifts for Toys for Tots can be made at any Disney store. In Rancho Santa Margarita, residents will find the closest Disney store in Downtown Disney, 1565 Disneyland Dr.
