Video: Kelly Fitzgerald Band Covers Wide Spectrum at Central Park
Singer/songwriter leans heavily on classic tunes in Summer concert performance in Rancho Santa Margarita.
Humid weather couldn't stave off concert-goers in Civic Plaza's Central Park on Sunday evening in Rancho Santa Margarita. City residents celebrated the latest installment of the Summer Concert Series by welcoming the Kelly Fitzgerald Band, which kept the crowd rocking with soulful stylings that ranged from classics to current hits.
Residents steadily filled the lawn to enjoy the free entertainment at the park’s amphitheater, which was surrounded by a scattering of local vendors.
The show began with a bang as Fitzgerald belted out the Rolling Stones' classic "Beast of Burden" at about 6 p.m.

It wasn't long before onlookers were on their feet and dancing directly in front of the stage during the two-hour concert. Rancho Santa Margarita’s four-concert series concludes next Sunday, when the Surf City All Stars bring the sounds of summer to Central Park.
