OC Fire Helicopters Picking up Water at RSM Lake
OC FIre is helping fight a wildfire in the Holy Jim Canyon area, and is picking up water from the RSM Lake to do so!
A wildfire is burning in the Holy Jim Canyon area as of Wednesday morning August 31, 2016 (see: story)
The Orange County Fire Authority is helping fight the blaze, including providing aerial support from at least two helicopters. At least one additional helicopter and one fixed-wing plane are also hard at work.
The helicopters have been making trips to the Rancho Santa Margarita lake to pick up water, making for an unusual and exciting morning at the lake.
