Picture Worth a Thousand Words (Over the Cell Phone)

Blockbuster Video locked the doors behind it when it left its longstanding location in the Lowe's Center on April 10, but a banner on the top of the building indicated that Verizon Wireless will locate there.

It will be a short move. A Verizon store is seven storefronts and about 250 feet away from the Blockbuster it will succeed. The new site will be about four times the size of the current location, allowing for more display and selling area of cell phones, iPads, accessories and various services.

Although most questions about Verizon get directed to the corporate office, an employee said the move has been communicated that the ove will take place soon, but no time frame has been shared.
