Raising Dough for The Children's Tumor Foundation
Fundraiser for The Children's Tumor Foundation, in honor of a local boy who suffers from Neurofibromatosis.
Please come out and support Team Maddox on Tuesday, July 27th at Selma’s in RSM. 20% of sales will go to The Children’s Tumor Foundation, which is leading the charge in finding effective treatments for people suffering from Neurofibromatosis, or NF. NF is a genetic condition that causes tumors to grow throughout the body. It affects 1 in 3000 people, and the severity ranges greatly from case to case.
Maddox was born with a more aggressive version of NF, with a lesion on his brain stem and a massive tumor that runs from his skull down to his T4. NF also challenges him with learning disabilities and motor delays. Maddox’s challenges are great, but he overcomes them with determination and a smile on his face. Maddox is a true NF hero!
