The Roaring 2022’s Fashion Show and Fundraising Event

The Saddleback Valley Chapter of National Charity League (NCL), Inc. celebrated the 37th Annual Fashion Show and Fundraising Event.

SADDLEBACK VALLEY, CA. (September 2021) – The Saddleback Valley Chapter of National Charity League (NCL), Inc. celebrated the 37th Annual Fashion Show and Fundraising event. Seventeen young women, entering their final year of NCL, helped raise funds for 21 local charities as they strut the runway in beautiful gowns. An event that should have taken place last November were postponed to August 29th, 2021, due to the pandemic. This year’s event, themed “The Roaring 2022’s”, included photo stations, opportunity raffle, wine pull, as well as silent auctions. Over 230 family, friends, and community supporters attended the event that was held at [AV] Irvine in Irvine, California.

The event spotlights the senior class members who volunteer their time and energy in support of the local philanthropies that they serve over the course of their six years together in the organization. Despite the challenging year, the senior class, served its community with 980 hours of philanthropic service from April 1, 2020 – March 31, 2021.

Sophie Aceves, Stirling Armstrong, Abby Anderson, Abby Baytieh, Tess Betty, Catherine Boston, Morgan Eves, Chloe Greene, Gabrielle Hauptman, Katharine Hulse, Arisa Moghaddam, Sara Morace, Amber Speirs, Alaina Stapf, Emory Warner, Cayman Wurth, and Kathy Zeppos. They are senior class members from the following High Schools: Capistrano Valley, JSerra Catholic, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, Tesoro, and Trabuco Hills.

"These amazing young women are beginning the sixth year of their Ticktocker program and serve as valuable role models in our community and in our chapter. We applaud these young ladies as they exemplify the Ticktocker motto: “We search for charity within ourselves and strive for the graciousness to share it with others" said Jodi Mitchell, Saddleback Valley's 2020-21 Chapter President.
