Santa Margarita Parkway Bridge Hinge Maintenance Project Update

Crews will be paving the former median area in preparation for one lane of westbound traffic to be diverted onto the eastbound bridge in mid-August.

The contractor is currently working both on the bridge deck and underneath. Paving over the former median area is complete and will allow one lane of westbound traffic to be diverted onto the eastbound bridge. The projected timeframe for the traffic shift is Tuesday, August 18th.

Please note that all landscaping, including replacement of Magnolia trees, will occur upon completion of the bridge maintenance project.
