The project is unique and challenging; at an elevation of 65 feet, the SMP bridge is located within an area subject to numerous regulatory agencies.
The bridge hinge will be reconstructed in two phases, with one-half completed during each phase. The first phase is anticipated to last four to six weeks. Staff will continue to closely monitor the construction to mitigate construction impacts to the greatest extent possible.
Please note that all landscaping, including replacement of Magnolia trees, will occur upon completion of the bridge maintenance project.
Thank you for your patience as we conduct infrastructure improvements for the community, and please drive safely.
