SMCHS Hosts 'Children of Eden' in Theater Performance

Santa Margarita Catholic performs the musical 'Children of Eden' through Saturday.

The relationship between parents, children and faith gets a frank and heartfelt treatment in the "Children of Eden" by the performing arts department of Santa Margarita Catholic High.

The humorous Stephen Schwartz and John Caird musical, directed by Amy Luskey-Barth, is based on the story of Genesis.

Anchored by Adam, Eve, Noah and "the Father"—portrayed respectively by Daniel Velasquez, Carrie Dubeau, Grant Yosenick and Dan Juliano—performances of the school's spring musical at the Talon Theater on campus continue Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., with a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m.
