South County Kicks Off Relay For Life Event Sunday in MV

(Mission Viejo, Ca) - If there is one singular community event to attend all year long -- this is it.

Join with your neighbours and friends and take an active role in this incredible cause aimed at celebrating and saving lives. Make plans to attend the Relay For Life of South Orange County ‘Kick-off Celebration’ on Sunday, February 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to learn how you can start a team to walk in this year’s annual Relay for Life of South Orange County event. The Celebration will be help at Audi Mission Viejo, 28451 Marguerite Pkwy.

This year, five South County communities: Ladera Ranch, Lake Forest, Rancho Santa Margarita and San Juan Capistrano and Mission Viejo have teamed up to host Relay For Life of South Orange County on June 9-10 at Oso Viejo Community Park. The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event that celebrates survivorship and raises money for research and programs. The event offers something for everyone – from the newly diagnosed and caregivers to friends, long-term cancer survivors and community members who want to support a great cause.

Ladera Ranch has participated annually in this event over the last decade at Cox Sports Park on Crown Valley Parkway. The 24-hour Relay brings communities together like no other event can. It is a family event aimed at supporting everyone impacted by cancer.
