According to the pair, the center of the claim is accessible by 2 or 4 wheel drive pickup, and there are off-road riding permitted areas. "Spend a little extra, and get a real mining property!"
The Dotsons answered a few questions about the Placer claim, saying: "a Placer Claim gives you surface or just below the surface mineral rights, often in a river bed or stream bed."

Mining in Trabuco Canyon started in the 1800s, when gold, silver and tin deposits were discovered.
"Recent discoveries of small quantities of gold have driven many prospectors and recreational miners back to the area," they said. "The canyon provides a well kept access road and plenty of trees for shade and relaxation. Many people also enjoy fishing and off-roading in Trabuco Canyon."
