Take Action For Hunger Day In Rancho Santa Margarita
South County Outreach is asking the county to take action and issuing a reminder that everyone has a role to play in ending hunger.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA β Hunger Action Day was acknowledged on Friday, Sept. 15 and with it, a campaign across Orange County designed to mobilize the public to take action on the issue of hunger. South County Outreach, based in Irvine, serves the communities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Irvine, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano.
βEach month we provide food to 3,000 of our local neighbors, almost 50% of those needing food are children. Hunger Action Day, is only one day, but if it raises awareness for families that are hungry all year, it has made its goal,β said Lara Fisher, executive director of South County Outreach.
