Waiting for the Storm in Rancho Santa Margarita: Photo of the Week

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — They say it never rains in California, and lately they've been right. However on Tuesday, Sept. 20 the rain has continued to bombard southern Orange County.

Tuesday morning, it was a different story for resident Bart Ortberg, who captured this photo he called "The Storm" that never came.

The wet weather is showing as just below Rancho Santa Margarita, hitting Laguna Niguel and San Clemente.

"This photo was taken off Avenida de Las Banderas," he said. "RSM is a delightful place to live, full of great people (all of whom wish we'd get a little rain, though!)"

Still, the sunny weather in RSM and Orange County makes this one of the most beautiful parts of the country in which to live, and we thank you for the photo of the week.
