Whacky Weather to Continue Fluctuating

Record, cold record heat, what's next? Rain.

Mother Nature’s been showing off. And she’s not done.

Within a week, Orange County communities such as Rancho Santa Margarita experienced snow and record lows followed by record highs and summer-like heat in the mid 80s. But the elevated temperatures won’t last long.

By Friday, cloudy skies are expected, with temperatures struggling to make the lower-70s across much of the area, according to the Weather Service. Forecasters predict a 30 percent chance of rain Friday and Saturday.
