ORANGE COUNTY, CA — After two days of recurring rain in Orange County, the clouds have begun to part — for now. Here's a look into how much rain fell in Orange County over the last two days.
The information was gathered by Orange County Public Works. The department pulls rainfall statistics from 57 sites countywide, according to OC Public Works' website.
According OC Public Works, South Orange County's foothill communities and the northern-most part of the county received the heaviest rainfall from Monday to Tuesday.

Here's a run-down on the communities that received the heaviest rain:
- Santiago Peak received 4.37 inches of rain.
- Upper Harding Canyon received 3.62 inches of rain.
- Upper Silverado Canyon received 2.64 inches inches of rain.
- Brea received 2.13 inches of rain.
- Fullerton Creek at Richman Ave. received 2.05 inches of rain.
Near Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza pulled in 1.46 inches of rain while nearby Mission Viejo residents saw about 1.1 inches of rain. In Dana Point and Laguna Niguel, residents saw about 1.1 inches of rain, according to OC Public Works.

In Laguna Beach, residents experienced between 1.22 and .79 inches of rain Monday through Tuesday, with the heavier rain falling farther from the coast. In Newport Beach, residents received between .71 to .83 inches of rain.
In Seal Beach, residents received roughly 1.28 inches of rain, according to OC Public Works. Lake Forest residents experienced between .98 and 1.38 inches of rain.
