• STEAM Saturday's Monster Mash Program Kicks Off In Redlands Oct. 10 (patch.com) — Families in Redlands can dive into monster-themed crafts every Saturday in October at the San Bernardino County Museum's STEAM Lab, starting Oct. 10. Kids will make a variety of monster and spider-web projects that spark curiosity about paleontology and prehistoric life, with activities included in regular admission at the Orange Tree Lane museum.
   

• Mentone man arrested on attempted murder charge after Redlands vehicle pursuit (communityforwardredlands.com) — Redlands police arrested a 24-year-old Mentone man on suspicion of attempted murder after officers say he repeatedly rammed a vehicle carrying his ex-girlfriend and another person, then fled, hitting another car and abandoning his vehicle near Moore Middle School. He was later taken into custody at his Mentone home and is being held on $1 million bail as police seek additional information from the public.
