CSUSB GRADUATE EDUCATION PROGRAM RANKED No. 7 IN NATION

Cal State San Bernardino's graduate program in education is ranked No. 7 in the nation for 2015, according to a list of 1,600 such programs

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Cal State San Bernardino’s graduate program in education is ranked No. 7 in the nation for 2015, according to a list of 1,600 such programs compiled by GraduatePrograms.com

And CSUSB is one of two California State University campuses that made the GraduatePrograms.com 2015 list of the top 25 nationwide education graduate programs. Sacramento State was listed at No 3.

Last year, the CSUSB master of social work program was named among the top 25 social work graduate programs in the country by GraduatePrograms.com.

CSUSB’s graduate education program was rated highest in faculty accessibility and support, and school use of technology, both receiving 9.5 stars out of 10. The overall student rating for the program was an 8.55 out of 10, with the No. 1 spot, Northwestern University, receiving an overall score of 8.73 out of 10.

Reviews posted by more than 75,000 students participating in more than 1,600 graduate programs nationwide were ranked based on 15 categories. These categories cover a variety of student topics, such as academic competitiveness, career support, financial aid and quality of network.

Rankings gathered between Sept. 1, 2012, and Sept. 30, 2015, were compiled to create the list. For a given graduate program, rankings are determined by calculating the average score for each program and then compared across all ranked schools in the nation.

CSUSB offers more than 40 master’s degree programs and concentrations, as well as a wide range of credential and certificate programs.
