• 100 years ago in Redlands: West Coast Theaters company plans new theater building in Redlands (redlandsdailyfacts.com) — Plans for a major downtown theater a century ago helped shape the Redlands Fox building that now houses the Fox Event Center at Cajon and Vine. This archival look back traces 1920s debates over the State and Sixth site, local builder W.J. Pillars' role, and how early movie houses like the Liberty, Majestic and Wyatt evolved into today's Redlands theater history.
