Inland Empire Police Football Team Wins, Helps School District Department
The football squad defeats the Santa Clarita Skyhawks 28-22 in overtime win in the Campus Safety Bowl.
The Inland Empire Enforcers football squad pulled out a 28-22 overtime win Saturday over Santa Clarita Skyhawks in the Campus Safety Bowl. The teams went head to head in 90-plus degree weather. Fans took shelter under umbrellas and EZ Ups
The game was the final home game of the season. Money raised from the event benefited Redlands Unified School District Campus Safety Division. The final game of the season is scheduled for April 30. The Enforcers will take on the Long Beach All-Americans at 1 p.m. at Veterans Stadium, 5000 E. Lew Davis Street, Long Beach. Admission is $8. No outside food, drinks or coolers are allowed.
Players for the Inland Empire Enforcers come from the Redlands and Chino police departments, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department/Loma Linda Police, San Bernardino County Probation and the U.S. Coast Guard.
