Loma Linda Little League Girls’ Softball Takes Second Place in All-Star Tournament
No Loma Linda baseball or softball team has won three tournament games before.
It was a history making night on Monday, when the Loma Linda Little League girls’ softball team played in the league’s first ever District 21 all-star tournament championship game.
The team was defeated 10-0 by Ken Hubbs, who will advance to the Section 8 tournament July 5.
This was the first time a Loma Linda baseball or softball team had ever won three tournament games, with the league’s previous best finish fourth place.
