The women's top sprinter, Joelle Numainville, wins a tight race to the finish to move up to fourth overall.

Joelle Numainville lived up to her green sprint leader jersey Saturday afternoon, winning the final push to the finish line to win the Women's Criterium race in the Redlands Bicycle Classic.
Numainville, racing for Optum Pro Cycling/Kelly, beat out overall leader Megan Guarnier to the finish to take the stage.
Guarnier, with Team Tibco/To the Top, will start the final day Sunday with a 14-second lead on Alison Powers, who races for NOW and Novartis for MS. Last year's champion, Amber Neben of Specialized-Lululemon, sits in third place. Numainville is in fourth overall, 17 seconds back.

The women will start Sunday's final stage at 10 a.m. at the start/finish line on Citrus Avenue. The race route will include sprints around downtown, followed by climbs into the hills around Sunset Road.
