Redlands police are investigating a pair of break-ins at downtown businesses, police confirm to Redlands-Loma Linda Patch.
The crimes were reported at the A La Minute ice cream shop and Augie's Coffee House in the early morning hours of Sept. 28, between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., according to Redlands Police Spokesman Carl Baker.
"Windows were smashed at both locations but nothing was taken," Baker told Patch in an email.
The About Redlands Facebook group says they obtained a surveillance image from one of the incidents and believes the person was looking for iPads, however police could not confirm that information.
