Youth soccer league ends season
Christian Youth Soccer League organizers say it was another great year.
Loma Linda's Christian Youth Soccer League ended its season on Dec. 12 with an awards ceremony at Pat and Oscars in San Bernardino. More than 200 children and their families attended. Trophies and participation certificates were handed out. Loma Linda's region is part of the larger Christian Youth Soccer League that includes Redlands, Rialto, Riverside and San Bernardino, said Lindsay Daguerressar, region one division coordinator.
The league caters to the needs of the Seventh Day Adventist Community.
"Some of our kids were not able to play in other youth leagues because they have games on Saturdays," Daguerressar said. "Saturday is the Sabbath."
