Blown Transformer Shuts Down Hawthorne Boulevard In Torrance

REDONDO BEACH, CA – All southbound lanes along Hawthorne Boulevard between 190th Street and 186th Street are closed to traffic due to a blown transformer in the area and wires down, according to the Torrance Fire Department. Torrance Police Department, Torrance Fire Department and Redondo Police Department are on the scene. Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area until further notice.
