Make your dog paws-itively happy by joining actress/producer Laura Nativo “The Fairy Dogmother” and her skateboarding Pomeranian “Preston Casanova” for the 2012 Fido & Friends walk—presented by Cancer Support Community-Redondo Beach to support cancer patients and their loved ones. The fun-filled event takes place on Saturday, April 21 at Veteran’s Park—309 Esplanade, Redondo Beach. Late registration begins at 9 a.m., and the walk begins at 10a.m. Acquire $50.00 or more in pledges to participate. Bring your dog or just yourself! Bring your family and friends, schoolmates or coworkers to vie for the biggest fundraiser prize. Form a team and walk in honor of a person or dog you know who has or had cancer. Carry their name on a sign if you wish, or just in your heart. You and your dog will receive a free T-shirt, doggie bandana, and a fabulous doggie goodie bag. Laura and Preston will act as emcees for the event’s doggie contests, which include Best Dressed Dog and Owner/Doggie Look alike. An actor/model since the age of 8 weeks, Preston got his "big break" starring with his momma in the CBS hit reality show, “Greatest American Dog”.
