March 27th through May 2nd is National Kite Flying Month.
...When I was a kid I remember making kites in school and enjoying a kite flying day. Also, I have fond and happy memories of my grandfather taking me kite shopping an we heading off to the beach or park to fly it as high as my string would allow.
At the Playground Presents to you our 2nd Annual Go Fly A Kite Day. 10am - 4pm.
This is a yearly family event. Simply a day of fun, letting our imaginations fly high in the sky.
Let's support our families and expose each to things that have seemed to slip away.
So, pack up the kids, Kites, blankets & food to share. The grills will be hot. The games (tug o war, footballs, volleyball, dominoes, etc) will be set and all will be ready to play.
Let's all be ready to break bread at 11:30. Games will begin at 1pm.

Needs List: kites, coal, lighter fluid, meats, veggies, salad/dressing, drinks, ice, side dishes, sweets, etc.
