High School Football: Redondo Union 0-2 in Preseason

"Upland was definitely a very solid and talented team as advertised," says RUHS head coach Matt Ballard.

From Redondo Union High School football coach Matt Ballard:

Upland was definitely a very solid and talented team as advertised.

Although we had too many mental mistakes and our offense was ineffective, our boys played hard and fought all night. We schedule top teams like Upland in our pre-season for reasons just like this; expose our weaknesses and forces us to step up our play, and our coaching!

0-2 is never an easy way to start, but we have to be able to step back and see the big picture. We have three more pre-season games to fine tune and get ready for our Bay League run. Next week, we travel to Antelope Valley to play an out of section opponent.
