Lanes Blocked During Police Investigation In Redondo Beach

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Police are outside a location in Redondo Beach Thursday where a suspect is apparently refusing to come outside.

Authorities have blocked off several streets in Redondo Beach during an investigation.

A South Bay alert reported police activity and several streets blocked about 2:30 p.m. Thursday:

"Police activity in the [1700 block of Green Ln], and intersecting streets [Carnegie Ln, Rockefeller Ln, Vanderbilt Ln, etc.] are blocked for unknown duration. Please avoid the area."

Patch reached out for additional information about the investigation.

"We have an individual who is in a home and is refusing to come outside for us. The watch commander is still on scene and will have more information," a 911 dispatch supervisor told Patch.
