REDONDO BEACH, CA —Lifeguards were rescuing an injured person at Redondo Beach Monday, according to media reports.

Firefighters and lifeguards were responding about 12 p.m. to the south end of the marina after a paddleboarder reported that they spotted a person who apparently fell off the break wall and was injured, South Bay scanner reports. Firefighters were reportedly treating the injured person at the scene.
