Man, 60, Missing In South Bay

He was last seen Friday at his place of employment in Torrance, authorities said.

TORRANCE, CA – A 60-year-old diabetic man went missing at his place of employment in Torrance, and authorities sought the public's help Tuesday to find him.

Celso Vargas Villicana was last seen about noon Friday in the 300 block of Sartori Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Villicana is Hispanic, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs about 120 pounds, a bald head and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of Mayan numbers on his neck and was wearing a white long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans when he went missing.

Anyone with information that could help investigators reunite Villicana with his worried family was urged to call the Missing Persons Unit of Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
